We made this by ripping 2x4's into 2x2's, orienting them with the vertical grain face up, planing the sides, gluing together with Tidebond III, then planing top and bottom to 1-1/2" thick. Two coats of clear sealant finished it off nicely. This could also be made by using our Select Sinker Rough Sawn 2x4 and making it yourself.
